School Coexistence
At Colegio Alemán de Barranquilla, we understand school coexistence as a cross-cutting component of holistic education, which is continuously developed in the classroom, through academic projects, in spaces for interaction, and through the close relationship between the School and families.
We believe that education means fostering citizens who are capable of living together based on respect, empathy, responsibility, and recognition of others, both in face-to-face and virtual environments. In this way, we promote a culture of care, dialogue, and shared responsibility.
School Coexistence and Student Well-Being Management
The School Coexistence Area works collaboratively with the different teams within the School to promote well-being and healthy relationships throughout the educational community. Through educational initiatives and comprehensive support strategies, its work focuses on:
- Consolidating a safe, inclusive, and protective school climate.
- Strengthening social-emotional skills and student well-being.
- Working collaboratively with academic departments and families.
- Addressing conflicts through a pedagogical and restorative approach.
- Promoting reflection, restoration, and timely support.
- Strengthening the sense of community within the institution.
